Green Turtle Cay –  Caribbean Sea

A very popular cruiser’s stop-over Green Turtle Cay is located in the Abaco Islands Caribbean Sea and is 4.8 kilometers long and a half mile wide.

Green Turtle Cay is known for its excellent beaches and has several boat marinas. It was named after the abundance of green turtles that inhabited the area.

The population of the island is about 450 and its main settlement is New Plymouth which was founded in the 18th century.
